I have a 2002 ford taurus, 6 cylinder, 3.0-it makes a screeching sound inside the engine, but its not any of the belts or the alternator. I did take it in and the camshaft position sensor was replaced, but it is still shutting off (engine)-no changes. :( [/b] It's got 82,000 miles on it, if that helps. :? Another thing that's strange is the engine light does not come on to warn me that there is a problem with the car. :?:
