RF-978M-6090-R74 16v zetec VCT manufactured in 97 Which repair book do I buy? Cant find variable cam info. Its out of time thank you

That's most likely a DOHC 2.0 VIN#3. That requires special tools to time it correctly and cannot be done without them or it will cause a repeating PO340 code and barely run.

I don't know what your referring to but that is an original equipment motor for that car.
