Hi
Couple of issues with my car
1) My dashboard is showing warning lights for handbrake, battery and rear light, ABS warning light. Even when they are not supposed to i.E, while handbrake is down and leg brake is not pressed, battery is fully charged. I just got my car from service and tune and the mechanic couldn't figure out why is that happening and still investigating. It doesn't happen all the time but happens almost 90% of the time while driving.

2) My car used to vibrate while driving uphill and used to go off with slight change in throttle on accelerator. When I took my car to a mechanic he said engine mount could be issue and he replaced it. Still never solved the problem. Today when I took to another mechanic, he said ignition leads are to be replaced and that could be and issue. He replaced it and when I did a test drive, I didn't notice in 30 minutes of driving at various altitudes. Not sure if the problem is indeed fixed or just didn't appeared that time but what I was wondering is how ignition system causes car to vibrate on going uphill. Was wondering have I been ripped off. It costed $169 to fix :-(.

Ignition switch supplies power to the fuel pump circuit, and if the battery light was on, voltage to all cicuits was affected. Low voltage to PCM and fuel system can cause poor performance. Time will tell if it's fixed, dont panic yet!

Why brake light and rear light warning indicator is on in dashboard when driving and when in motion when neither hand brake nor pedal brake was pressed?

This is the issue the mechanic couldnt find a solution.

Try unplugging the warning light switch on the master or just under it, and check the switch at the parking brake lever, it could be defective, or the brake cable is out of adjustment, and the lever isnt against the stop. Rear light warning? For what lights? Brake lights or tail lights? Check stop light switch on brake pedal if you dont have brake lights. Check fluid level and condition in the Master cylinder, if it's full take a small amount and swirl it in a cup of water, it should turn milky white, with no oil beads, if any oil beads are in it, someone contaminated the brake fluid by adding a petroleum base product, like trans fluid or motor oil! This would be bad. Rubber seal on the master would be deformed(swollen) if this is the case in later stage of failure.
