I have a Motor home with a 460 ford chassie. I drove 600 miles last week and after 150 miles I loss power and the engine did some slight popping. It felt like the gas pedal would only send fuel in a small area to the engine and the speed dropped from 60 to 35 MPH. I pulled over and shut it off and when I start it again the problem was completely gone for about 30 min and started again. This continued several times. It had new gas in it but I did notice the problem seems to not occure when the tank is above half. History Fuel and air filter changed 4 years ago and have only 10000 miles on them. Is it possible I have a weak fuel pump and how do I test it?

It is possible the pump is weak. You will need a mechanical fuel pressure gauge to verify this. The pressure should remain the same, then jump up a little when you give it throttle. If pressure decreases after driving, then the pump is most likely weak
