wont start

I have a 1989 ford mustang lx 5.0 ltr. Its been sitting in garage for a year and a half it ran fine when put away. Went to start, it will turn over but wont start, its not getting gas. when sprayed gas in throttle body it started right up, but cant keep it running after that. Any suggestions?

For a start Clogged-up fuel filter and in tank pick up sock/screen. If not power might not be making it to the fuel pump.
