98 mustang exhaust or gas fumes smell inside
1998 mustang gt, 4.6L, 5spd, 93,000mi
usually during the summer while my a/c is on and the car's been running for a while, I notice a gas fumes or exhaust smell inside the car. It goes away on it's own. Today it kinda smelled like that again but it's fall and I don't use my a/c. It's not real strong but it does smell bad.
Any ideas of what I might have to look at? I hate shops because they can be real ripoffs.
Anything, any ideas will help... PLEASE?

Maybe check the evap system for proper function.
