2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Musty Smell
After we get heavy rain the Mustang gets a musty odor. I am concerned that there is rain getting in to the convertable roof storage area and not draining.
The smell is not from the AC.
Any ideas.

HAve you checked around for any water retention?
Can you use your nose to try to narrow down the smell?
Have you seen any kind of black spot mold anywhere?
Can you simulate it by spraying varous areas with a garden hose? Try the rear one time, try the front another etc.
