2000 Ford Mustang Repair Question

2000 Ford Mustang vanity lights intermittent failure
Electrical problem
2000 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
this is a convertible mustang
The vanity lights on the sun visors don't always work. When you flip open the cover on the mirror, they sometimes will work. You have to tap on the mirror for them to work.
I also have problem with the interior lights that are attached to my mirror. They don't work any longer. I checked the bulbs and the fuses and they are all ok ( meaning not blown or burnt out.
I'm going to check to make sure there is an electric current coming to the plug. But haven't done that yet.
Any suugestions on what the problem can be?
Thanks!
