2000 Ford Mustang Passenger door wont unlock

Hi,

I just got a 2000 ford mustang and everything has been going well untill I noticed I cant unlock the passenger door with my key pad or with the button from the inside. If I want to unlock it I have to open the door from the inside. Once I open it from the inside I have to manually push the lock down to lock it again. When I push the key pad or the button it moves like its going to unlock but it doesnt come all they way up. How would I go about fixing this and will it be an expensive fix?

Sounds like your lock accuater went out. Does it make any noise went you try to use the button? I had the same problem with mine.

It makes the sound like its unlocking and moves a little but then it wont go all the way up. But sometimes it does actually unlock or lock.
