Why dose it take forever for my car to warm up?

Chances are the thermostat is stuck open and not restricting the coolant. As a result, it takes longer for it to warm up. Also, some people will actually remove the t-stat if there is a problem with a vehicle overheating.

I would recommend replacing the thermostat to see if that helps. Let me know if it helps.
