My wife drove this newly purchased in warranty Ford Freestyle van to work this morning. She parked it, shut off the engine, and then decided to back it up one or two feet. She turned on the ignition again, and when she attempted to shift out of Park, she couldn't move the gear shifter. It is locked in place on the steering column. I suggested wait until lunch, let it cool down and let the ambient temp warm up (it was 34 F this AM). Then call me. We just bought it last Monday, there was no previous indication of any problem.
