FORD FOCUS 1800 TDI - MILEAGE=92,000 REG= Y/2001
If i drive at a contant speed of 30 in 3rd gear = no noise, if i then accelerate I get a screaming noise untill I stop accelerating or change gear. this happens in every gear tho. is it my fan belt? not long had a new timing belt, but after a week it snapped, all fixed now tho, could it have something to do with that.

ps, i wud have sent a donation, but can't because its only USD!!!

The noise only started yesterday, I have owned this car for the last three years. My timing belt was replaced for a second time in December and everything was fine, no noises, just fine. The garage replaced the timing belt, tensions, head gaskett and valves, due to the damage of the belt snapping. They did not say anything else about any other belts.
