Hello,
I recently bought a 2001 Ford Focus (V4) with 80,000 miles. When driving the car with the defrost on the car will stall out once it is put in park. I was wondering if this is an alternator issue or if I just need to have the idle valve cleaned/replaced.

i would have the battery and charging system checked
making sure alternator checked under load
i would also look for another symptom
(put ac on wipers lights)does it stall

cleaning idle air is a plus
