I tried 3 times this morning to start the car and on the third time it started. But was trying the car was making no sounds except the dinging of the dash lights. I am now at work and tried to leave for lunch and it will not do anything now. But the dinging. The battery is only 2 months old. How can I tell wether it is the alternator or the starter? The horn and lights work?

Another thing, when it did start the radio and everything was reset?

Retest the battery and connection, also test the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch, and ignition switch
