I have a 2003 Ford Focus that I am having two issues with. First off when the car warms up it jerks and acts like its not going to accelerate up to speed. But if you let off the gas and easy back on it runs better just takes a long time to get up to speed. When the care is cold it works just fine. Second, issue is it Idel’s very rough when its cold to warm, then when up to temp not as bad any help or advice would be great.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
