Usually multiple clicking is usually caused by low voltage on the coil side of the starter relay. The starter relay should be in the passenger compartment fuse box.

If you took a reading across the battery posts, with everything turned off, with a meter, what was the reading?

Are the battery cables/wires all clean and tight?
