The car seems to run fine in cool weather 3/4 of the year in New York State but when it's warm or (and) I've been running it for a half hour at least when I an in 4-5 gear and loading up the engine (such as a 45MPH hill climb) I get a stutter and some exhaust smell in the cab.
Engine temp readout shows half scale deflection perhaps slightly more but never into the red. I find ram air force helps bring temps down as does use of the heater for heat sinking the engine in warm weather helps this problem as well.
New air filter element, new oil and filter, new PCV valve, new plugs and wires, new coil pack, new cooling fan relay.
No check engine lite or error indicated before during or after these episodes.
What have I missed?
