Lately when I have been idling the engine seems to rev up at about 10-15 second intervals. It will also do this if I have removed my foot slowly from the gas pedal (like when I pull into my street). My battery flashed on two days ago and today. At a stop light the battery and oil lights when on, and the engine stopped running. My car started right away and I mangaged to get home without hitting any more red lights. I am checking the battery this afternoon. Any other suggestions for parts that should be checked?
