I was driving home sunday morning really early and I got off the interstate and my car was making a knocking noise everytime I would accelerate. There was alot of snow on the ground and it was only like 15 degrees outside so I wasnt going fast. My car started slowing down and finally it died and smoke poured in through my heater vents and out the hood. My oil lamp came on so i put a quart that i had in my trunk in the engine and tried to start it.. nothing. Finally when my dad came to look at it he checked my oil and it was right at the level it was suppose to be and he noticed my anti freeze container was bone dry. We got antifreexe and put it in and it came pouring out the back of my engine. do you have any ideas of what could have frozen and cracked? or is it something different?
Help Me i need my car for school!!!

HI there, what you need to do is get the cooling system pressure tested hot with the heater on, HI will locate any external coolant loss from the engine and heater, your mechanic can do this in just a few Minuit's, do this next.

Thank you for using 2carpros,
Your feedback is always welcome.
