High Idle

From one day to the next the idle increased. Now idles at 1900rpm. When driving I push the clucth in the idle will increase to 3500rpm. This is especially annoying when I'm stuck in Los Angeles traffic and my motor sounds like I have my foot on the accelarator. It eventually goes back down to 1900rpm usually when I have come to a complete stop, but sometimes takes longer. No codes come up when I scan it. My guess is the idle control valve or the throttle position sensor. I tried to search for a vaccuum leak but could not find one. Please Help Me :(

With no codes I would suspect the iac, pull it out and see if it has alot of carbon on it, if it does con it and get a new one, they are fairly inexpensive
