Any suggestions where to start looking for the problem of my F350 Ford truck, diesel, turning over but won't start. It seems to be getting fuel to the injectors and also in the filter. Tries to start with starting fliud but won't actually kick over all the way. The year is 2001, Ford F350, 7.3 power stroke, 200,000 miles.

I've got the same problem with my 2001 F350 7.3 powerstroke diesel. It's got 140,000 miles. I had the same problem a couple months ago and let it sit for a day while recharging batteries and it started. It happened again an hour ago and i'm waiting to see if it'll start in a couple of hours.

PLEASE DON'T USE STARTING FLUID !
First check engine oil level. If full. Can you hear the fuel pump running? Scan and run the special tests in the scanner program. Ie injector buzz test. Other possible causes CAM sensor, exhaust back pressure sensor, IDM, Glow plug relay, valve cover gaskets ( because they are part of the UVC under valve cover harness ). Let me know if this helps.
If not give more info on what you have done.
Thank you
