Engine air leak

Hi, I have '95 ford f350 7.3l diesel , at cold morning starts the engine has a loud air leak and when I'm driving it the noise comes and goes, the truck lacks power when the leak is on and I get normal power when the leak goes off. This pulsates until fully warm and runs well after that. Thanks

this is a turbo vehicle correct? have you tried checking your turbos and all hardware related to them?

Yes it's a powerstroke, I've been doing some research and I've been told maybe the EBP Ssensor might be at fault, does this sound right? Thanks!

Hey temblant,
Certainly that may be one cause, additionally wastegate and controller may also be at fault. Have you ruled out the "simple stuff" first ie"air ducting to and from turbo, to intake? sorry had to ask!

Regards,

Chris
