I bought a 1996 f250 superduty dually 7.3 powerstroke diesel. At 60 milesmiles per hour I have 23 hundred rpms it feels like I am running out of motor. The transmission is a manual five speed. Where do I start to find out to go to a higher ratio.
The # on the trans is E6 AZ-19582-B. Can you help me or direct me where to start.

Thanks Russell

Do you have the correct size tires on your truck?

If everything checks out normal... tire size, tranny gearing, clutch isn't slipping (pretty safe here), engine healthy, then you could always opt for a different gear set for the rear end to place your cruising rpm where you want it.
