I'm looking for an answer for a leak around my oil filter I am very good @ maintaining my vehichels. I.E not A rookie. My truck was parked outside the temp got down too zero when I started my truck and warmen it up I noticed a small leak developing under the truck It progressivily got worse. I put it in the garage and found oil was leaking from the oil filter gasket, I changed the oil and installed A new filter, It's still blowing past the seal the truck has an oil cooler so I thought maybe there was some moisture froze in the oil cooler I left the truck in the heated garage for two days Installed another filter thinking maybe I missed something found nothing installed another filter and it's still leaking but the oil pressure guage is where it always is Is the oil pressure regulater on the oil pump? And shouldn't the guage peg out? I'll make a donation if you can solve this riddle!

Clean around the oil cooler with carb spray. It may have developed a leak between the cooler and block and it is creeping to the filter. Either that or the filter isnt sealing on the cooler due to the center piece(threaded pipe) backing out.
