I am not able to start it....had to have it towed home.
Just put in a new battery.....car wouldnt start, about a day later
When key is turned engine does not turn over,

I have the same problem on a '96 Thunderbird. It did this once before several months ago but has started since (the car got jarred and it started). I have been told I should check the neutral safety switch/relay. Where is it and what does it look like?

Post #1 This does not sound like a safety cutoff switch, it sounds like a cable grounding and possible positive cable problem.

Post #2 Getting hit can cause the safety switch to the gas line to shutoff. The reset is often found in the trunk but is spelled out in the owners manual.
