Misfires at Idle

I have 2003 v6 4.3 F150 180KMILES .Changed plugs 3000 miles ago.
Started missing at idle only about 2000 miles ago. Just changed plug wires and same problem. The only light I got in the past 3 months was a "lean error code one time. I get about 17 mpg in Dallas driving. Use shell
regular gas and amsoil oil. drive 250/300 per day.If I
bought the Analyser would it help me fix this kind of problem?
:?:

Analyzer, do you mean scan tool?? Yes, they're invaluble,, everyone should have one in their toolbox,, you don't need to spend a bunch of money, the more you spend of course the more tool features you get, I think they sell one on here in fact... it will point you in the right direction to start solving your issue, it won't fix it for you.. some of the lean error codes can be problems, especially the ones where the pcm is at it's correction limit, might be more involved to diagnose.
