The motor on the driver side power window is operating, but the window is not engaging. Service department is quoting $200+ for labor & parts without looking at it, and I'm wondering if it is something I should consider tackling myself.

I don't normally attempt repairs myself.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

To replace a widow regulator you need to remove the door panel, drill out the out motor/regulator. Unless U know wich one is bad, Rivet in the new part re-install the panel. Simple enough? Oh by the way these are special rivets that require a super heavy duty riveter! Got one of those lying around?
