I have a 2009 F 150. At about 4000 miles, it failed to start one day. The electrical all worked, but it would not try to start the engine. I was told by the dealership to roll up the windows, lock the truck up with the key; remove the key; unlock it with the key. I did and it worked. I took it to the dealership and they couldn't get it to replicate. It happened again and this time I left it with them 18 days. They got it to replicate. They have put two instrument clusters in it and a new PCM. It is still doing it.
It will also stop while you're going down the road. Have you heard of this problem before?

Any ideas?

Each state's lemon law is different so, you will need to investigate before demanding, as some it's by repair time, some it's by visits.

I haven't heard of the issue, but talk to the service manager about getting Ford involved. For people willing to not lemon law the car, they are generous at times.

Yes, I am pursuing the Lemon Law route. In TN, they get 3 tries or a total of 30 calendar days. It is still at the dealership (9 days this trip), and this is the 32nd day.
I sent the required certified letter to Ford yesterday and cc the dealership.
It isn't that they haven't tried to fix it. They just can't nail down what the problem is - they can't fix it.

Thanks for your input.
