It seems like the truck is idleing too low. It won't stay on unless you work with it for a while buy keeping your foot on the pedal. We have in the past changed the throttle postion sensor and that seem to help but now its not. Any ideas?

Upen the hood and check for disconnected, damaged, or broken hoses. Sometimes with the engine running, you can hear a hissing sound.

Some people spray starting fluid on the hoses when it's running, but I don't like to because it can catch fire if you are not careful. If you choose to do that, be careful and if you hit a leak, the engine RPM's will increase.

Let me know what you find. Chances are the heater had nothing to do with it running.
