F150 engine misfire po303
Engine Performance problem
1998 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 120000 miles
Have a PO303 reading on my scanner which is cylinder 3 misfire. Changed the plug, and put some electrode grease in the cable. Problem when away for about an hour. Now the Check engine light is on again, and it stutters when i accelerate. Once again aPO303 reading. Also get a small backfire at times, with a loss of power. (recent work i've done ) Changed the fuel filter, oil, oil filter, plugs, cables, EGR valve, DPFE sensor, and the evr solenoid.

at worst sounds like bad cylinder get a compression tester and check the cylinder @ best could be coil pak follow wire to coil pak and check for proper voltage if ok let me know. get a book for your engine helps alot
