Not allow truck to use front tank?

The front tank switch will not allow truck to use front tank gas it shuts off rear tank works fine, where do you start looking for the problem, tank has gas and no fuses are blown. Thanks

Electric switching solenoid is stuck or wire connections at valve are corroded you say rear tank ok aas their is normally a pump in the tank to supply fuel (had the same truck once)
