1993 Ford F-150 Replacing a slave cylinder

I have a 1993 F-150 that runs great. I got into it last friday and the clutch went to the floor. I put fliud in and it worked for maybe a day and now it stays to the floor. I believe it is the slave cylinder. My question is, how hard is it to do myself and what parts would I need? Thanks in advance

Need to find out if externally mounted slave cylinder
or internally mounted slave cylinder

It's internal. I know i'll have to take the tranny off to get at it

My suggestion to you is to make sure that it is the slave that is leaking
and if so do a complete clutch job clutch and all since its out

Check the bleeder valve. It looks like the brake cylinder bleeder valve. Pull up on the brake pedal, make sure the resevoir is full. Bleed the brake cylinder to see if brake fluid is coming out. If so work your way towards the slave cylinder checking it is getting brake fluid. There is a bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. Try bleeding the system just like you would when bleeding your brakes. We have a video on replacing the slave cylinder if needed. 1993 Ford F-150 Replacing a slave cylinder under repair guides. Check the lines to make sure there is not a broken line or pinched lines.
