I changed out all the battery cables and reconected to new battery new selinoid and now I get no power to anything. I've bypassed the relay to test and there is power but when connected up I get no power what so ever for lights or anything.

When you reattached the wires to the solenoid, was the negative battery cable still disconnected? It should have been, this is the last cannection to make. Check the fusible links that attach to the solenoid, one of them may be fried, or not connected. If you have a test light, ground the clip to the neg(-) battery post, probe the links b4 and after the "bumps" the light should light at both points, if not, replace the bad ones.
