Engine Performance problem
1990 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 189000 miles
i have a truck with duel tanks when i am swithed to the rear tank it pumps into the front tank and overflows from the fill tube, i read there is a bad check valve, is this valve located in the line or do i have to replace the fuel pump in the front tank?

The valve's in the pump but Fords "fix" was to "add" one in the line(I think). I've not done one myself but it's common - ask around 'till you find someone familiar with this - this forum should be a good place...there was a TSB at one time, I think...An older parts guy at the Ford dealer may help.
