i need to replace the motor and change the clutch ,can you do that when the motor is out or do i need to take the transmisson out too.

Hi there,
Yes you can, the clutch is attached to the engine flywheel, just remember to have the flywheel re faced and replace the pilot bearing and the thrust bearing as well.
