1973 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 15000 miles
my truck keeps burning up points, i have had to replace them 3 times in the last year. the work was done by a mechanic. what could be causeing this to keep happening?

Ok you need to replace the condensor too and check to make sure the voltage coming out of the neg side of the coil doesn't exceed 9 volts better if lower. Get back to me if you need anything more.
