Whistle noise on cold mornings
I have a 2004 ford explorer. On cold days (I live in Michigan), when I start my car the engine whistles when it firs starts. As soon as the RPMs drop the whistle stops.
When I am driving, it starts again at about 2100 RPMs. If I go faster or slower it stops.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

The car belts and in good condition and properly tensioned? Have you looked at the air filter?
