Hot start misfiring
Make: Ford Explorer, '95, miles: 148K
Question: My Explorer misfires on restarting after a short shutdown when I'm running errands such as stopping to go into a store for a few minutes. The misfiring clears up after a little running and I'm pulling away. This has been happening for about a year.
I suspect that the fuel injectors are leaking or is there is some vapor lock going on. If that is correct, what should be done? Are the fuel additives to clean injectors of any value?

Not sure of what is happening with your truck. Additives are of some value but not a lot. Too much too often becomes a negative.
