HELLO, I HAVE A FORD EXPLORER 1996 LIMITED V6 RWD 4.0 AND MY 3rd. BRAKE LIGHT ISN'T WORKING. I SEE HUMIDITY INSIDE LAMP AND WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GET INSIDE THAT LAMP TO CHECK CONNECTION AND OTHER THINGS.
I SEE A MOLD IN THE TRUNCK DOOR AND ITS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET INSIDE THAT 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. THANK YOU

The lamp isnt serviceable, it either works or buy a new one it is run by a ballast and they are serviced separately. If the ballast has pwr you need a lamp. Remove the trim to get to the nuts, unhook the wiring then take out the screws for the ballast. The lamp is in with rivets which will have to be drilled out. Good luck.
