A/C Heater controls
Ford 1997 Explorer with V-6 engine automatic transmission
The systems puts out heat in all conditions but off. In A/C mode we do get some relief as the unit will cool somewhat. I have replaced the heater valve under the hood but noticed there is no signal to make it go closed

sounds like the temp blend door is stuck...you will need to get some lube on the door dowl...
