94 Ford Explorer

I own a 94 Ford Explorer and a 95 Chevy Blazer. I bought an Actron OBD II PocketScan cp9125, which surprisingly works on the 95 Blazer. Is there a way to make the scanner work on the 94 Explorer? I would hate to have to buy a scanner for an OBD I.

I'm no pro. I don't think the two are compatable. You can use an analog voltmeter to retrieve the codes from the 94.
