Advance trac light

Electrical problem
2005 Ford Explorer V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 23000 miles

My 2005 Explorer was in an accident and now the little Advance Trac symbol is lit up on the guages and in the information center, it says to "check advance trac". What would be causing this problem. Is there a sensor I need to replace?

Could very well be. To be sure the system will need to be scanned for codes. If a wheel sensor or some wiring was damaged, then the traction control/ABS system will turn on the light letting you know there is a problem
