Hi,
I have a Ford Explorer 2003 Limited, and it has a reverse sensor alert sound when backing-up. When I start it in the morning, and shift from P to D, of course I will pass the R(rear) before shifting it into drive. As I pass the R, it will make the sound as if I'm backing-up(beep). But thats it. It won't work everytime I put it in reverse the beeping sound does not work, and it shows on the button(lights-up) for it that it is off. I cleaned the back bumper where the sensors are, but no luck. Is it something I can fix myself or do I have to bring it to ford. what could be the problem?
thanks,
Attilio
