I've been having an EGR low flow P0401 on my 2003 Explorer. Mechanic recommended injection cleaning, 2 hours after that cleaning I had misfire on cylinder #4 which I had never had before is assured me it was normal and to just run the car for a while and then clear the misfire code. What do you think?

I also have a thumping noise coming from my right front wheel area, it only comes on sometime, it might be the axle coming loose not sure. I know it's not the suspension or the tire. I have when hearing a winning noise coming from the trans or axle when I'm driving. Tell me what you think?

1. Misfire at no.4 check spark/compression/injector

2. Thumping noise could be coming from the axle/struts/brake assy.
