2003 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 95000 miles

my died on the side of the road, by battery light came on and the all my electric power went by by, car stalled out and I coasted to the side of the road. I replaced the battery and a few days later the same thing happened. I am thinking it's my alternator... what do you think?

if the battery is not charging then yes, each time vehicle dies is the battery dead? if so i woudl be suspecting the charging system of a fault.
