I had an issue a couple of weeks ago where Explorer wouldn't start. None of the elctronics worked, lights, electronic door locks, etc. I jump started the car and it worked just fine and started the remainder of the day.

The next day the same thing happened. I jumped it again and took it to Advanced Auto Parts to test the battery. It tested ok. The next day it wouldn't start again. This time I took the battery out and brought it to Advanced and it tested as a dead battery.

I bought a new battery and it worked fine for the last 2 weeks. This morning, it wouldn't start again. Again, nothing electrical would work.

I talked with acouple people that know a little about cars and they feel that it couldn't be the starter or alternator because the electric locks wouldn't work. Any ideas? I am affraid that if I take it to a dealer I will pay dearly for something that may be simple.
