My engine idle will not pick up when it is cold. It acts like there is no choke. It does not want to keep running very well when cold.

Check the coolant temperature sensor/idle air control valve/motor, throttle position sensor to include the MAF sensor

Idle air control
check it
clean it and or replace it
check for any vacuum leaks
check intake manifold gasket
do a code scan
