2000 Ford Explorer Head Gasket

My son called me and said his Explorer was overheating. He added Coolant and about 10 miles later it needed more. I went out today and pulled the dipstick and the oil looks like a chocolate milkshake. I am assuming this is a blown head gasket. What do you think?

Or a cracked head or block...any external leaks? Like at the front between the upper and lower intake?
