2000 Ford Explorer fuel pump

i recently took my truck to a professional auto parts store to have them hook up there code reader the code reader came back with nothing wrong but my truck is still running rough the pro said it might be the fuel filter or the pump i replaced the filter and it still is running rough before i replace the pump is there a way to test the pressure to make sure its running properly any help would be nice

purchase or borrow a mechanical fuel gauge. test the fuel pressure at the fuel rail to see what the pump is putting off. check out our "How to Repair or Service" page to find out how to test your fuel system's pressure.
