2000 Ford Explorer Engine

When starting my car, there's a loud clicking sound and it continues at a faster rate when I stepping on the gas. I have the oil changed regularly and have even added the fuel injector & carb cleaner but no luck. Any ideas?

Does the engine start while it is clicking? If it clicks loudly until it starts that is probably a battery, possibly bad connections to the starter or starter itsself.
